Dear Mr Anthony Lim
APPLICATION FOR THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT ENGINEER
I am writing to apply for the Assistant Engineer post which you advertised during the Career Fair at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman.
In January next year, I will be receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering as my major and Human Resource Development as a minor. I have also earned a diploma in Business Administration from a renowned institution, the Binary College, where I enrolled as a part-time student.
I have experience working as a Trainee Engineer for six months with Mutiara Engineering Sdn. Bhd. I have also worked as a part time researcher in Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman for two respective semester breaks during which I have been assigned to promote an erosion control product. My communication and planning skills were proven effective when the product was used by the government to combat erosion at a long stretch of beach in Port Dickson.
I hope to be part of your organisation as I could see its potential in supplying engineering products not only at local but also at international level.
My resume is enclosed for your information and I look forward to an opportunity to further discuss my qualifications and experience.
Yours sincerely
ZAINAL
